Giulietta e Romeo takes its name from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, one of the world’s most timeless love stories. A story of romance, passion and devotion, it sets the tone for a restaurant created around warmth, atmosphere and memorable evenings shared over beautiful food.

After 12 years in North Chaweng, Giulietta e Romeo begins a new chapter in the heart of Chaweng, Koh Samui, beneath the golden Temple of Wat Khao Hua Jook. Our new home offers both indoor and outdoor dining beside a beautiful pool, creating an intimate setting for romantic Italian evenings. The setting may be new, but the same family, recipes and romantic Italian spirit remain at its heart.

Alongside our evening restaurant, our new home has also allowed us to introduce two new offerings from the Giulietta e Romeo family. La Dolce Vita brings breakfast, brunch and drinks to our poolside bar during the day, while La Pasta offers a carefully selected menu of quality pasta dishes, delivered to the comfort of your home or accommodation.

Family-owned and run, the restaurant was created to make guests feel welcomed, cared for and transported to Italy for the evening. Candlelight, classic Italian styling, red roses, warm service and intimate atmosphere all reflect the romance behind the name.

At the heart of the restaurant is Italian Head Chef Mrs Paola Ferrari, whose cooking brings authentic Italian tradition to the island through classic flavours, carefully selected ingredients and imported Italian products.
